Design and UX consulting in Montreal

Sometimes you don’t need a new website, but an outside perspective. I give you my opinion on a user flow, audit your website or app, or help you settle a design decision. And because I’ve run operations, I don’t just look at the screen: I look at your offer too.

Who I work with

Businesses that want an opinion on their site before starting a redesign. Teams without a designer that move fast on their product. And those who need to settle a design question without the time to rework everything.

What you get

In concrete terms, at the end of the project.

  1. 01An outside perspective on your website, your app or a specific user flow
  2. 02What already works, and what can be improved
  3. 03Concrete recommendations, ranked by priority
  4. 04Figma mockups when they’re clearer than a long text

How we work

5 steps

You approve each step before I move on to the next.

  1. 01

    First call

You tell me about your business and your clients, we see whether we’re a good fit, then I send you a detailed estimate.

  2. 02

    Discovery

I get to know your product, your offer and your users: what already exists, what has been decided, and why.

  3. 03

    Analysis

I review the user flow or the decision with a designer’s eye and that of someone who has run operations: what it costs, what it brings in.

  4. 04Figma

    Recommendations

I present what I recommend, by priority, with concrete examples or mockups when that’s clearer.

  5. 05

    Follow-up

I stay available for your team’s questions while they put the recommendations in place.

Frequently asked questions

The questions I hear most often on a first call, with short answers.

5 questions
01

What is design consulting?

It’s an outside perspective on your website, your app or a specific decision. I don’t necessarily design the whole project: I analyze what exists, tell you what can be improved and where to start. You stay in control, and your team moves forward with clear recommendations.

02

Do we need a designer on the team?

No. If you don’t have one, I give you recommendations your developers can apply directly, with concrete examples or Figma mockups when that’s clearer. If you do, I bring them a second pair of eyes. Either way, I stay available for your team’s questions.

03

Can you help with a single decision?

Yes. Sometimes it’s just a matter of choosing between two options, or checking a user flow before developing it. Even on a specific question, I look at the whole picture, your offer included, and point out anything that could cause trouble further down the line.

04

What if we want to go further?

If the recommendations call for reworking screens, a user flow or the whole site, I can take care of it: UX/UI design, redesign or Webflow development. But nothing obliges you to: consulting is designed so your team can move forward on its own.

How much does design consulting cost?

The price depends on what you hire me for: an opinion on a specific user flow, or a more complete audit of your website or app. We discuss it on the first call, then I send you a detailed estimate covering only what you need.
